Our First Book of the Month Award

5-StarRating

I got up this morning to exercise (as usual) and opened up my email as I walked (as usual).  To my excitement I discovered a note from AllBooks Review that Beyond the Map’s Boundary had been selected the Ebook Feature of the Month.  A 5 star review at that!

Now how exciting is that?  How many thousands of ebooks do they have to choose from and they chose mine!   The ebook is barley out there and the printed book is only in the pre-order stage!   :)

BeyondTheMapsBoundaryBeyond the Map’s Boundary is starting to get some recognition.  Our notoriety snowball may be small, but a few noteworthy flakes have been added today.  How wonderful; How fun!  Thank you AllBooks Review.

You can download your  own secured copy by clicking here if you’re interested or hear a sample on the “sample the novel” page.

The adventure is afoot…       Nibi

Searching the Net for Notoriety

While we wait for the national reviews to be completed, we spend our time searching the net for ways to spread the news of the novel.  With a release date of February 2010, we need to take advantage of the time between now and then to get the title of the book and my name out there…everywhere!

I don’t have the fortune of a Sarah Pallen, nor the fame she has, and the road to stardom is much slower and tedious than she has experienced.  However, she’s certainly been abused unfairly by the media and others.  That’s been rather remarkable for one person who wasn’t even elected to command so much attention.  That says something, doesn’t it?   I admire her tenacity, but am grateful that I do not have her cross to bare myself.

Thanks for Giving…

There are a lot of things written about this special day in the history of America.  To me, I give thanks to my creator for “giving” me the opportunity to be born to goodly parents, in the land of the free and home of the brave, at this most extraordinary time in the history of the world.

Regardless of the corruption that we are experiencing in our government today, we still are blessed beyond measure.   I think it would be wise to appreciate it and stand up for what’s right before we lose our freedom and our choices.  All the success in the world or money in the world will never compensate for the loss of our free agency.

I have so much to be thankful for that there’s not enough time in a day to identify and list them all.

May the Lord bless and keep you this Thanksgiving and Christmas season and may you feel the peace that comes from standing in holy places.

It’ll also be available in paperback here and in the bookstores in March of 2010.

Enjoy the adventure,

National Reviews

Our National Reviews are beginning to come in.  The book has been reviewed by AllBooks Review and ForeWord Magazine Clarion Reviews.  I’ve included them in the “Review” section.  AllBooks gave BTMB basically a 3 out of 5 stars and ForeWord Clarion 4 out of 5 stars.  I’ll take both.  They had some suggestions of course that will make me a better writer in the long run, which I appreciate, and some wonderful things to say (which I appreciate even more).  Go take a peak.

Rejection Letter Contest

My niece wrote on her blog that she had entered a Rejection Letter contest and so I thought I’d go read it and ended up entering one of my own.  I read a lot of them and most of them are hilarious.  Mine is very short and to the point.

Go see…they’re fun!
